The Phantom in Newspapers

King Features Syndicate often make the claim that The Phantom is syndicated in "over 500 newspapers worldwide." Even so, it never ceases to amaze me how regularly I receive emails from people who cannot find a newspaper in their region that carries The Phantom. With this in mind, I've started to compile a list of newspapers that publish The Phantom daily and Sunday strips. Click on the following links to view the lists for those regions:

The following countries do NOT publish The Phantom strips in any newspapers: Algeria, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Benin, Burkina-Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cambodia, Central African Republic, Chad, Estonia, French Guiana, Gabon, Germany, Guinea Republic, Ivory Coast, Lebanon, Laos, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Monaco, Morocco, Netherlands, New Caledonia, Niger, Rawanda, Reunion Isle, Seychelles, Samoa, Senegal, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Tahiti, Togo, Vanuatu, Vietnam.

So far these lists account for a total of 214 newspapers that publish The Phantom strips (168 dailies, 46 Sundays). I need your help to make the lists more complete. If you know of any other newspapers that carry The Phantom, please complete the form below. All contributions will be acknowledged when these lists are updated.

(print versions only please!)

Please Note:

The above lists only concern the print versions of newspapers. There are several different on-line newspapers that carry The Phantom dailies and Sundays in colour, with some more up to date than others, or offering a small archive of recent strips: Visit Aman King's website for a nice portal that enables easy access to these strips, including an archive that stretches back to 1 January 2003.

Please note that the above websites only provide access to the latest strips. Fantomet.no (Norway) provides an archive of recent daily and Sunday stories.
