In addition to their Phantom Comic Albums, World Adventure Library, and Phantom Annuals, World Distributors also produced a large format weekly tabloid comic called TV Tornado. Each issue measured 300mm x 230mm (11 3/4" x 9"), ran for 20 pages, and sold for sevenpence. There were 88 comics in total with The Phantom appearing on only a few pages in each issue, alongside many other comic and TV characters. The Phantom was on the cover of many issues, but rarely as the main or solo feature. Five of the Phantom feature covers appear above, along with one of the early covers. Two hardcover TV Tornado Annuals were also produced, one in 1967/68 and the other in 1969/70.
